Tools Overview

Firesky provides dashboard tools for managing groups, reports, and church operations. Tools are either Firesky-hosted (available to all churches) or provider-hosted (require a specific CHMS).

How Tools Work

1. Go to Dashboard → Tools
2. Tools are grouped into "Tools by Firesky" and "Tools hosted by [Provider]"
3. Subscribe or purchase tools your church needs
4. Access tools at /tools/{churchId}/{slug}

Hosting

• Firesky-hosted — Data in Firesky. Available to all churches. No CHMS required.
• Provider-hosted — Data from Ministry Platform or Planning Center. Requires that CHMS to be configured in Dashboard → Settings.

Access and Billing

Tools are available through:

• Active tools subscription (tools_monthly) — Subscribe in Dashboard → Settings → Billing to get access to all Firesky-hosted tools.
• Legacy per-tool purchase — Some tools may have been individually purchased. These continue to work.

Provider-hosted tools (Ministry Platform, Planning Center) may require a separate purchase or may be included with your provider tools subscription.

CHMS Integration

For provider-hosted tools:

1. Configure your CHMS credentials in Dashboard → Settings
2. Select your provider (Ministry Platform or Planning Center)
3. Tools for your provider will appear in "Tools hosted by [Provider]"

Available Tools

Ministry Platform

• Group Manager — Manage groups and members. Search groups, view and edit attendance, manage participants. Requires Ministry Platform credentials.
• Security Role Manager — View and assign security roles within Ministry Platform. Requires Ministry Platform credentials.

Planning Center

• Group Manager (PCO) — Manage Planning Center groups and members. Requires Planning Center credentials.
